<p>Position Title: Sound Engineer (CRE)<br> Department: Client Relations<br> Job Type: Full-time<br> Location: Office-based (occasional travel to client sites)<br></p> <p>About the Role:<br> We are looking for a Sound engineer A Sound Engineer's role involves recording, editing, mixing, and mastering audio for live events, music, film, or broadcasts, requiring technical skill with equipment (mics, consoles, software) and creativity to achieve desired soundscapes, plus strong collaboration with producers, artists, and directors to meet project goals and troubleshoot issues. Key duties include setting up gear, adjusting levels, adding effects, fixing problems, and staying current with audio tech to enhance sound quality and creative vision. .<br></p> <p>Key Responsibilities:<br> * Recording & Setup: Set up microphones, consoles, and other audio equipment for studio sessions or live events; record various sound elements (instruments, vocals, effects).<br> * Editing & Mixing: Edit, balance, and mix recorded audio tracks, separating sounds, adjusting levels, and applying effects to create a cohesive, high-quality product.<br> * Mastering: Perform final adjustments to audio for broadcast or distribution, ensuring it meets technical standards and artistic vision.<br> * Collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, musicians, and performers, interpreting their needs and offering creative input.<br> * Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix faulty equipment, resolve technical issues, and maintain sound systems.<br> * Sound Design: Create and add sound effects, build sound libraries, and enhance audio for media. .<br></p> <p>Requirements:<br> * Education: Bachelor's in Audio Engineering/Music Production or relevant certification; some roles may accept experience in lieu of a degree.<br> * Experience: Proven years as a Sound Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience in recording, editing, mixing, and live sound.<br> * Communication: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills for working with artists/producers.<br> * Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly.<br></p>
